Steelers Nation has been wondering for quite sometime what will the Steelers do with Safety Troy Polamalu as his play was better in 2013 than it has been since 2009-2012. They also were wondering with a few Steeler Players carrying large Salary Cap Hits for the 2014 season would there be someone else the Steelers would keep and restructure their Contracts.

Through  numerous Media Outlets the Steelers have restructured not only the contract for Safety Troy Polamalu but Tight End Heath Miller. Polamalu is signed through the 2016 season and gets a reported three-year $20 million deal to lower his Cap Hit from just south of $11 million to just above $6 million. Miller signs a two-year extension and lowers his Cap Hit from $9.5 million to just north of $6 million. The Deals are to save the Steelers around $8 million in Cap Space as thy need to get under that $133 million mark before the NFL opens 2014 Business on March 11th that and that's when the Free Agency Frenzy ensues!
