Through numerous Media Outlets the Indianapolis Colts wasted no time getting Browns Backer and Leader D'Qwell Jackson to sign with the Colts. The Colts were Jackson's 4th team he had visited as he had made trips to Tennessee, Denver, and Miami among others before making it happen in Indy.

The consummate professional on and off the field he will only add to a magnificent front led by OLB and the NFL's #1 Red Jersey Collector (19.5 Sacks) for 2013 in Robert Mathis from Alabama A&M the "Hill".  Colts Lead Man Chuck Pagano is a defensive-mind and it was  no-brainer joining the Colts for Jackson as they are in the AFC, have the aforementioned Mathis, and QB Luck and that explosive Offense that is only going to get better.

The Deal is reported to be $22 million with guarantees of around $11 million as that is solid cash for a 30 year-old backer with plenty of tread left on those tires. Jackson's Coach in Cleveland last season Rob Chudzinki aka "Chud" is now a Special Assistant to Pagano and the Colts and that may have sealed the deal for the Colts closing in on Jackson.
