This will be the 3rd time they have played one another and the first two games they have split both and both were in the "503" with Blazer Mania all over the place. The Blazers at 10-3 and on the heels of the west leading Golden State Warriors (12-3) have been playing well and watching these Blazers its that 2nd unit that has flourished. Moving SF Evan Turner to that point on that unit and free agent pick-up Nik Stauskas is paying big dividends for Team Stotts.

As for the Lake Show dba Team Walton and slow your roll "Magic Man" Walton and Associate lead man B-Shaw got this as patience is of virtue. The Lakers Roles for the most part have been established and the King James is getting plenty of help and don't worry about the man from the line with all those buckets and "Winning Time" moments "Bron" will figure it out. Now they have to figure out a team that knows them extremely well and vice verse.

Playbook

The Lakers have to pick their poison dealing with that dynamic back court of "I got Bars in the Studio" and the "Engineer from Lehigh" in Dame Dolla and C.J.. If L.A. can hold them to combined mid 40s they have done their job. If they are high 50s to low 60s those boys have went heavy NBA T.V. Highlights which would be "Lake Show" low lights!

Lakers have to get out in transition and that starting line up as big as they are must play "Big" in the half court all them SFs from "Bron" to "Kuz" to Ingram need to post-up and force Blazers lead man Stotts his hand in getting into his rotation early.

The Penalty the Lakers need to stay out of foul trouble as the Blazers shoot rather well from the charity stripe...

Rip City Bench vs "A Tribe called Lakers Bench"...who wins?

L.A. at 7-6 and only 10th in the east has to start making a move into that bottom half of the west...

Portland just needs to stay steady and hungry and not watch the standings just play game to game and worry about game #14 of 82 tonight...

Points in the Painted Area vs the "Equalizer" the Money Ball...who wins"
