The Houston Rockets have no one to blame but themselves for that 6-7 start and playing this 2k18-19 season in Mama's Basement. They had a chances to start the "Redeem Team tonight and versus the Champs down a "Splash Brother" they did just that.

Behind a solid defensive effort as the Rockets held "Dubs" to just 42% from then field and a dismal 22% from the Arc (write that down because you will not see from 23'9" G.S.W. shooting below 30% let alone hovering around 20%) as the Rockets forced themselves to find somewhat of an identity and they might have did just that.

No it won't be on the defensive end but the reigning #Fight4Mo dba NBA M.V.P.  Rockets Sniper James Harden (silhouette right) led with a game-high 27 points on 23 shots. At this point no one is counting the attempts as Harden has to be the aggressor with no nights off and be the primary ball-handler sharing those duties with CP3. Paul played off that with a balanced floor game with 10 points and seven helpers.

Clutch City was "Clutch" as they only had 5 turnovers and forced G.S.W. into 16. Yes the Rockets shot 29 more times than "Dubs" from the arc but was +36 and they will take that every night. Houston SF James Ennis III from the "Beach" dba Long Beach State 49ers added 19 points and that's what they grabbed him for from the 2k18 free agency crop. Ennis III has to be productive with all those forwards no longer their including Carmelo Anthony (waived today by the Rockets).

We will not see this defensive effort from H-Town Hoops all season long but its a marathon not a sprint and they know they need to get back to whats going on within and not worry about outside things.

For G.S.W. they too chalk it up as game #16 of 82 but they need to watch this thing closely as K.D. led "Dubs" with 20 points with Klay Thompson adding ten points as they combined to shoot 0-7 from the arc. I have no clue what that was about but Stephen Curry will be back soon as they have another All-Star to lean on moving forward.

Clutch City moves to the .500 mark at 7-7 while the Warriors fall to 12-4...
