The Dallas Cowboys set a tone early in this game that no one knew and they had to be the only to know of shutting down the powerful New Orleans Saints Offense. They not only shutdown Air Payton and QB Drew Brees they moved the Wilson pigskin up and down the field on a Saints "D" that had been doing good things and a top 5 takeaway margin.

Dallas smothered the Saints in the first half and led 13-0. Impressive play in all three phases as Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (23 car 76 yds) didn't go over a hundred yards but was effective in situational football. Situational Football is what that Rod Marinelli Cowboys Defense played with and held Brees to just 127 yards throwing and that dynamic Saints RB Duo of Alvin Kamara/Mark Ingram to a combined 63 yards on 18 carries. Putting it mildly NOLA Tackle Football got knocked down and didn't get up.

Yes the Saints scored 10 points in the 3rd (A Randy Gregory roughing the Kicker 15 yarder led to that Seven) but the Cowboys slightly threatened moved past that frame holding that 13-10 lead and shit it down for good in the 4th. The interception (above video) in the 4th iced the game for the Cowboys!

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (24-48 248 yds TD) was solid as he did have some fumbling issues holding the rock way too long but that can be corrected. Right now the 'Boys are back in town and on top of the NFC East with a solid but not commanding lead over the Redskins.

#HTTR gets the Philadelphia Eagles this Monday Night with Cowboys Nation wearing Eagles "Green" Cowboys Jersey rooting for Philly. Dallas now gets some much-needed days off and gets the Eagles next Sunday in Big D at Jerry's World...they win that game Cowboys see you in January!
