Not since former Brooklyn, N.Y. Boys and Girls H.S. Star and Oak Hill Academy All-American and DePaul Blue Demon Monster "Lightning" Rod Strickland have I seen an NBA Point God get to the rack as easy as Kyrie Irving gets to the rim. Is an array of "Spins" off the window coupled with that 5 pm N.J. Turnpike Handle that gives Uncle Drew carte blanche in "Logo Watch" taking all defenders.

After 43 points (23 points in the 4th and extras) Kyrie Irving (Left) was in his bag with a full arsenal against all Raptor Defenders on this night. Really 18 for 26 from the field and a modest 3 for 6 from Chestnut Hill #11 in that slick Nike Kyrie 5 P.E. was on a mission.

His partner in crime 2nd year SF Jayson Tatum added 21 points as he had a couple of drives that ended with emphatic flushes as he had that 21 on an efficient 8 for 13 from the field. The C's had 4 starters in double figures in interestingly enough Gordon Hayward was playing a lot of point forward handling the Spalding orange as both Kyrie and Tatum played off the orange with Kyrie posting up heavily in the extra frame.

As for the Raptors they had their chances as Kawhi Leonard (31 pts 11-25 FG, 9-11 FT) missed the potential game-winner as Morris Twin (Marcus) made it tough for him just right of the elbow free throw line extended. Toronto was in foul trouble and a lack of execution on the offensive end cost them in extras.

Raptors 2nd year SF Paschal Siakam was fabulous as he dropped 16 points with nine boards as Serge Ibaka from the Congo Republic continues his career-best season adding 21 points on 8 for 15 from the field. This game just had that fill to it like late May or early June on the calendar.

Moving forward the C's move to 9-6 an the Six falls to 12-4 as this should light a fire under the Green Team at least until All-Star Break...
