Boston Red Sox RF Mookie Betts dba "Fenway Flash" is your 2k18 AL M.V.P. as he wins outright beating the "Millville N.J. Meteor" dba Los Angeles Angels CF Mike Trout and Cleveland Indians second baseman Jose Ramirez.

Betts (pictured right) receives 28 of the 30 first-place votes hitting an Junior Circuit high of .346 with 32 homers and stole 30 bags. He also threw some leather in right at least better than any other AL RF winning the Gold Glove (AL Silver Slugger Award) and its safe to say the Carmines at Fenway has its core Superstar in the fold for year to come.

Trout not to be outdone as long as he is healthy will be in the running for AL M.V.P. every season. He his a quiet .312 with 39 bombs and 79 ribbies and stole 24 bags. A bit of an off year for the multi-talented "Millville N.J. Meteor".

Ramirez hit only .270 but that 105 runs batted in and 39 bombs was spectacular for a second baseman and he and Chicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez are all the rave up the middle in the show.

Betts joins former Carmines Elite with M.V.P. Trophies Dustin Pedroia, Mo Vaughn, Jim Rice, Freddie Lynn, "Yaz" Carl Yastrzemski and Roger Clemens among others... and thats some kind of company talking Boston Hardball...
