The Memphis Tigers knew they had to make a splash and make a splash they did as they secure the #1 recruit not only in Memphis, Tennessee and the Southeast but in all of the land. Versatile "Big" James Wiseman who I compare to former Georgetown and Jackson, Mississippi Murrah H.S. Star and Georgetown Hoya Othella Harrington and former Michigan State And Marion, Indiana H.S. Star Zach Randolph as Wiseman has game comparable to both of those "Bigs"! (Pictured right as Penny Hardaway (white polo) was then Wiseman's H.S. Coach with Kentucky's Coach Cal and UK Asst Coach Tony Barbee in-home recruiting visit with Wiseman)Was there some tension and anxiety for Wiseman you bet. Penny coached him mat Memphis East H.S. and he played for Team Penny on the Nike EYBL Circuit. Also Coach Cal and the Kentucky Wildcats were in the mix for his services as well as Bill Self an the Kansas Jayhawks. Whats this all mean with Wiseman going to Memphis? We wait to see where PG Cole Anthony of Oak Hill Academy VA and "Big" Vernon Carey Jr. of NSU School near Miami, FL sign and when they sign you will see a huge shift in the Top Signing Classes in Class of 2019.
