At some point I was waiting for the best Rookie in the 2k18 NBA Draft Class that was just showing out in the annual Las Vegas NBA Summer League and tonight he answered my call. Behind a game-tying money ball to send it to the first extra and eight boards on both extra frames Memphis Grizzlies Rookie and "Sparty" Stud Jaren Jackson Jr. dba "Bloodline" J.J. Jr. went for 36 points on the Brooklyn Nets and they could not stop him!

Jackson (pictured right at Michigan State) went 13 for 22 from the field and 3 for 7 from the B.X. as he was joined by Grizz heart and soul Mike Conley Jr.. Conley scored a game-high 37 points including taking over in extras as the Memphis Starters combined for 107 of the Grizz 131 points.

The Flatbush Nets behind D'Angelo Russell aka D-Loading with "Ice" in his veins led Flatbush Hoops with 26 points including five money balls. Three of the other Nets starters had 15 points each as DeMarre Carroll of Mizzou Hoops in Columbia, Missouri led that Nets bench with 21 points and former UConn Star PG Shabazz Napier 18.

It came down to making plays in extras and the Grizz made more. The Nets allowed the Grizz to shoot nearly 50% from the field and that was your ball game. You cannot let a team come out the motel and get really comfortable on your hardwood for the entire context...no!

Memphis moves 13-8 as "Rook" Jackson needs someone else to grab the Ribs from Charlie Rendezvous with that performance. The Nets fall to 8-15 and a hard 3-8 in Flatbush...
