Many though going in this would be the final game of the 2k18 Maui Invitational and these teams get after it. The Duke Blue Devils are led by 4 freshmen and a "Big" who is coming around. The Gonzaga Bulldogs are led by a trio of guards that are explosive with a versatile "Big" whose NBA Stock is rising by the games.

The Blue Devils were tested as they outlasted a Bruce Pearl Auburn Tigers Squad that plays fast and furious and up and down with versatile players everywhere. That nine player rotation the War Eagles had going gave Duke fits but that Duke Squad with all that talent especially the four freshmen was too much for Auburn in the end. SF R.J. Barrett (pictured right won Team Canada Gold Medal FIBA U19 in 2k17) and PF Zion Williamson will be the key for Duke if they are to win it.

Duke will need to play better all around to get past this "Zags" Bunch that is led by a Trio of guards that are experienced. Throw in the "Big" from Gonzaga in Stretch 4 Rui Hachimura he will be a load for the Dukies. Also watch Zach Norvell Jr. as he is streaky but got it going in the second half for the "Zags" that propelled them to victory.

360 Degrees

Transition Offense vs Transition Defense as both like to get up and down...who wins?

"Depth" as far as quality bench play will be key as the turnaround in this game is not even 24 hours and the the Civic Center is hot...stay hydrated Student/Athletes

Foul Trouble which goes along with "Depth"..who can stay out of it more?

Coach K vs Coach Few and it doesn't get any better than this...

Zion vs Rui and we might see it a few times but enough for some NBA Evaluation...

Tre Jones makes the Dukies go and he is the key for the Blue Devils...

Josh Perkins is the key for the "Zags" and he makes them go...

Schematically speaking "Scheme" means nothing without Hustle, Execution and limiting turnovers...who wins?

the Money Ball vs "Points in the Painted Area"...who wins?

the Charity Stripe will be crucial in this one who wins that battle?
