The Miami Marlins Tom Koehler (L, 2-3...6 IP 7 H 5 R 5 ER BB 5 SO 3 HR) was victimized on "Hump Day" on the "Bump" versus the Washington Nationals. It wasn't the whole entire line up but on one player. Nats OF Bryce Harper dba "Bam 34" takes Koehler for not one not two but three Bombs in his first three A.B.'s as the Nats hold onto to win 7-5.

Harper took Koehler for a solo shot in the 2nd, a two-run blast in the 3rd, and for good measure and another curtain call and standing ovation from Nats Faithful a solo blast in the 5th. Yes the Fightin' Fish scored two in the top half of the 2nd to open the scoring on two RBI singles but that would be it for them until then 8th.

Max Scherzer (W, 2-3...7 IP 10 H 5 R 5 ER 10 SO 1 HR) the Nats Starter gave up this two runs in the 2nd only to give up a Giancarlo Stanton three-run blast in the 8th after a visit to the mound. That made the score 7-5 as Nats Tanner Roark gets "Mad Max" beyond Nats Park out of that 8th frame jam to give way Nats Captain Save-A-Game Drew Storen. Storen would close the door in the 9th for a Nat's "W" as they win the "Rubber Game"!

The Nats move to 14-15 2nd in the NL East as the Fightin' Fish fall to 13-15 4th in the NL East...
