There is nothing like the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the extra frame sudden death is off the charts until your team loses. The Chicago Blackhawks took the Oxygen right out of the sold out Xcel Energy Center as Corey Crawford and "Skating with the Indian Head" playing Hawks Hockey gets a shutout 1-0 and the Wild is officially on real thin ice.

The game-winning goal came off the stick of the "Bison City Mullet" 88 on the Hawks lone power play of the night as he beats Dubnyk making it 1-0. From there the Hawks "D" and "Craw-Dad" (30/30 svs) shut it down and Crawford stopping 30 SOG and getting the shutout is a welcome sign for Hawks Nation moving forward.

The Wild now must protect home ice on Thursday and come out flying as Ice Games is all momentum and all that momentum right now is on the Indian Head's Side. We will get a Wild Bunch on Thursday desperate trying to get on the board as we get the first elimination game.

Hawks lead 3-0...

Stars on Ice...
