The Detroit Tigers had their man going in 13-4 Max Scherzer and he delivered. He goes eight strong allowing one run on four hits as he walked one an struck out eleven Blue Jays.  Max though would get a No-Decision in this one as the tigers Pen blew it!

It was Tigers Captain Save-A-Game Joe Nathan with a 2-1 lead giving up a run-scoring single to Dioner Navarro scoring Jose Reyes top tie the game at 2-2 in the bottom half of the 9th. Then in the bottom half of the 10th it was Joba Chamberlain who serves up a single to Danny Valencia and then a GW RBI-Double to Nolan Reimold as the 'Jays walk-off to a 3-2 "W" and that run was for hitting Derek Jeter earlier in the week "Joba the Hut".

More importantly in the bigger picture the 'Jays are right in the middle of the AL Wild Card Race but 5.5 games back of the AL East leading O's. The Tigers losing are just two games up on the blazin' Kansas City Royals as K.C. Hardball will not go away.

Marcus Stroman the Blue Birds Starter in this one went nine and gave up two runs on four hits walking three and striking out four. He gets a No-Decision but nearly matched Mad Max inning for inning!
