It wasn't what the Doctor ordered for Dodgers Ace Clayton Kershaw but he will take and the Dodgers will take it. In a game where both starters had to dig deep Halos Hector Santiago ( 5.1 IP 5 H 4 R 3 ER 3 BB 2 SO BB) and Clayton Kershaw (7 IP 7 H 3 R 3 ER 2 BB 7 SO) neither gets to the Winner's Circle after the smoke cleared!
It was Juan Uribe Dodgers Three-Run HR in the 2nd after the Halos put up two in their half of inning two to make it 3-2 Dodgers. The Halos came right back in the 3rd scoring another run on an "El Hombre" Double to tie it up at 3-3.
The Dodgers Scott Van Slyke gets a Sac-Fly scoring Dodgers OF Matt Kemp in the 6th to make it 4-3 Dodgers. Then with problems all season long Dodgers Set-Up man Brian Wilson gives up a 1-out Solo Blast to "EL Hombre" Almbert Pujols tying the game up at 4-4 after Kershaw was yanked after seven.
The Dodgers then get back to back singles in the bottom of the ninth off Halos Reliever Kevin Jepsen and Ducks on the corner. Halos Hot Corner David Freese playing "Mr. Freese" gets a throwing error ending the game as Andre Ethier hits the into a fielder's Choice with just one out.
Dodgers move to 64-50 and with the Giants losing earlier in the night LAD moves up 2.5 games in the NL West. The Halos losing and falling to 67-45 are two games back of the A's in the AL West.
Now the scene shifts to Aanameim for the remaining two games...
