O's Starter Miguel Gonzalez was dealing and the O's did just enough at the dish to leave Toronto with a 2-1 series win and that was big for the AL East Leader. The Blue Birds now falling five full games back must make up some serious ground.

The O's with the game all knotted up at 0-0 in the 4th inning gets a Two-Run Blast from Caleb Joseph off 'Jays Starter J.A. Happ and the Blue Birds never recovered. Yes the 'Jays struck in the 5th as Toronto LF Anthony Gose took Gonzo for a Solo Shot but that would be it for the 'Jays and the scoring in this one.

"Gonzo" went a strong six frames giving up a run on just four hits. That O's Pen held up as Charm City Captain Save-A-Game Zach Britton notched his 24th save of 2014. Happ takes the loss after giving up one bad pitch as he falls to 8-6 in 2014. J.A. goes eight and strikes out a dozen O's taking that "L"!

The O's move to 65-49 and five games up on both the Blue Birds and Yanks! 'Jays at 61-55 still are right in the middle of the AL Wild Card #2 slot.
