A mark of a good team is bouncing back from some adversity and that means losing a few then getting back on track not losing for a whole week or Motel Trip. The St. Louis Cardinals and Starter Lance Lynn answer the bell and for once in their Three-Piece with the O's...get Crab Cakes for an Entree!

The Fireworks started in the 1st with the Cards putting up a crooked two on O's Starter Kevin Gausman. The O's came right back with one in their half making it 2-1 Redbirds. Lynn would hunker down after that and give up two more runs but would leave in the 5th with a 4-3 lead.

The Redbirds Pen held up to their credit as they add a run in the 8th and that would set the table for thsi in the 9th frame.  Redbirds CF Peter Bourjos would take O's Captain Save-A-Game Zach Britton deep for a Three-Run Round Tripper turning a 5-3 Redbirds leads into a 8-3 route. Britton trying to stay sharp for the O's next time he is called will probably go Bullpen Sessions the nest day off for the O's to get that good Closing Stuff back!

Lynn gets the "W" (12-8) as Kolten Wong (4 for 5 w/2 R) along with Bourjos are the redbirds Heroes for this game and a game they needed to get chasing the NL Central leading Brewers by just two games now after Milwaukee lost on Sunday.

Nick Markakis was the leader for the O's going 4 for 5 scoring two runs with an RBI!

The O's dba "Birds en Fuego" falls to 67-50 still that is good for a 5.5 game lead on the Blue Birds in the East!
