The Baltimore Orioles knew they had to work quickly on 'Jays Starter Mark Buehrle as Buehrle works fast and when in a groove he is the other side of former 'Jays Lefty Jimmy Key. The O's get the Memo and paste Buehrle and the Blue Birds for a 9-3 route!

Behind Solo Bombs from "Crush" Davis, Caleb Joseph, and Jonathan Schoop and multi-hit games from "Adam Bombs" Jones, Nick Markakis, J.J. Hardy, and Delmon Young the O's had it all going. They hit Buehrle for four runs on ten hits in just four innings of work. They put crooked numbers up in the 4th and 8th on their way to a 64-48 W-L and a five game lead in the AL East.

The Blue Birds losing their 4th game in a row gets a two-run Bomb from Colby Rasmus and 3 for 4 night from Lead-Off Man Jose Reyes to boot. O's Starter Bud Norris gives up two runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings for the "W".

'Jays at 60-54 are a 1/2 game up on the 3rd place Yanks and losing ground on the O's. This head to head match up is crucial as you can make up immediate ground and the O's are taking full advantage of the opportunity.
