As we head into September Hardball in a little under a month the Starting Pitching is one thing but slamming the door shut is another. The Closing Role is essential to any potential Pennant Winning Outfit and nothing has changed on that front.

Now we take a close look at the Top 10 Save Leaders on the Senior Circuit led by Redbirds Trevor Rosenthal.

360 Degrees....

Rosenthal is the key down the stretch for the Cards as they loaded up on Starting Pitching (John Lackey/Justin Masterson) at the MLB Trade Deadline.

Kimbrel arguably is the best Closer in Hardball 2K14 as his Local (Curveball) is a Monster!

K-Rod...Francisco Rodriguez hasn't been sharp of late but after some 13 plus years in the Show and #2 on the Active List with 336 Saves later...shut up Bluedude...Ok!

Jansen is behind that Dodgers Staff and I worry more about his Set-Up Man than him...

Cishek has quietly come onto the scene and helped that Fish Squad stay in NL Wild Card Contention...

Reed has been solid for the D-Backs as he is the future Closer in the Desert..

Papelbon like K-Rod #3 on the Active List at 312 Saves...and the 'Phils could not move him at the Trade Deadline...hmmm!

Chapman hit by that Ball on the Head in Spring Training has been lights out finding his groove...

Soriano #7 on the Active List (200 Saves) has been the Nats Keeper in 2014...

*Street #5 on the Active List with 263 Saves...he has been traded to the AL Halos as they will need Street as they battle for the AL West..
