The Minnesota Vikings will have plenty of Firepower on the Offensive Side of the Wilson Pigskin as the "D" will be under some scrutiny. Enter Vikes new Lea d Man Mike Zimmer and he brings with him a No-Nonsense Approach and a Defensive Mind. Funny the trend was a Lead Man that was an Offensive Guru but what wins Super Bowls?

"Zim" has a QB Controversy brewing as 2014 1st Rounder Teddy Bridgewater is making a case. Zim also has Norv Turner running the offense which tells me we might have the "SKOL Triplets" brewing in the Twin Cities..."Bridge", A.P., and Mr. Patterson at WR.

The O-Line is led by two Mountains in Phil Loadholt and Matt Kalil at the Tackle Slots. TE Kyle Rudolph is underrated and he should become Jay Novacek (Cowboys Great TE) under the Norv Turner Play-Calling.

The "D" is led Chad "Kinnick Stadium Lore" Greenway who has been a fixture and should thrive under Coach Zimmer. 2014 #1 Pick Anthony Barr should be a real treat from Day 1 under the "Zim" Watch. Linval Joseph is a nice pick up for the Vikes Interior as 2nd year 1st Rounder Shariff Floyd Lights should come on in year two. Both Griffen and Robison are underrated and now certified and verified Red Jersey Collector Jared Allen is wearing Navy and Orange inside the NFC North they get their chance.

The Secondary has Safety Harrison Smith who has some John Lynch to him...a snippet! CB Captain Munnerlyn jones the "X-Man" Xavier Rhodes on the Islands. The Vikes will be better in 2014 but will it be enough to challenge the Bears and Packers or even the Lions?

Key Players

Offense
QB Cassell/Bridewater/Ponder
RB #28
TE K. Rdulph
WR Cordarrelle P./G. Jennnings
LT M. Kalil
RT Mount Loadholt

Defense
DT L. Joseph (2014 FA G-Men)
DT S. Floyd
DEs Robison/Griffen
WLB Greenway
SLB A. Barr
CB C. Munnerlyn (2014 FA Panthers)
CB X-Man Rhodes
FS H. Smith

"Bridge" will turn some heads and A.P. will do what he does. The real treat will be the other #84 JUC National P.O.Y from Hutchison KS CC by way of Vols Nation Cordarrelle Patterson...enjoy!

The "D" should be aggressive under "Zim" and they have some Dawgs albiet Puppies but they should be exciting. Floyd, Barr, Rhodes, and Smith are the foundation moving towards the new Digs on "D".

Key 2014 Schedule Dates
NFC North Opponents: Bears, Lions, Packers

Wk 2 vs Pats
Wk 3 @ Saints
Wk 5 @ Packers
Wk 6 vs Lions
Wk 10 Bye Week
Wk 11 @ Bears
Wk 12 vs Packers
WK 15 @ Lions
Wk 17 vs Bears

The out of division schedule is difficult as the Pats and Saints are back to back. The Vikes will be improved but can they make a run at a NFC Wild Card in 2014 or is that asking too much?
