Dodgers Starter Dan Haren reached back vs the Halos on Hump Day Night with the California Freeway Series tied at 1-1 and gives the Dodgers an October Effort. That Effort on the "Bump" from "Danny Boy" was backed by a Matt Kemp's Ash, Bamboo, or Maple running a Temp at 104 and teammate Andre Ethier following suit!

LAD struck in the 2nd inning on a Matt Kemp Solo Bomb taking Halos Starter Matt Shoemaker deep as the Dodgers led 1-0. Then after a Carl Crawford single and a stolen bag Andre Ethier doubles him home to make it 2-0 Dodgers.

Shoemaker settled down after the 2nd going six allowing those two runs on six hits as he took the loss. Haren went seven strong giving up a run on three hits striking out four. The Halos did score in the 8th on a Chris Iannetta Sac-Fly making it 2-1 Dodgers.

In the 9th it was Dodgers Captain Save-A-Game Kenley Jansen after a Kole Calhoun lead-off single he strikes out the "Millville Meteor"...Mike Trout, gets "El Hombre" Albert Pujols to flies out to Puig, and strikes out Josh Hamilton to end the game as Jansen had the Cutter working throwing that Express at an excess of 96 mph!

Dodgers move to 65-50 and 2.5 games up on the 2nd place Giants. The Halos fall to 67-46 two games back of the A's in the AL West.
