The United States loses to Belgium in Extra Time but that doesn't take away from anything what they accomplished in Brazil in the 2014 World Cup. To a man they would tell you we are a Top 8 Bunch and rightfully so as that last 15 minutes of play was dominated by the US throwing hay maker after hay maker only to come up short.

Yes Belgium had the US on their heels for most of that 2nd half of regulation. The game though turned into the "Tim Howard Show" as the Everton of the EPL Goalkeeper displayed why he was one of the best not only in the EPL but in the world. Howard under extreme duress all game long faced 29 shots with 18 of them  on Net as the Belgians kept coming and coming!

It was Belgium Midfielder Kevin Van Bruyne broke up the scoreless tie in the 93rd minute and 1st set of Extra Time making it 1-0 Belgium, That lead would hold up and right before the 1st set of Extra Time was over Romelu Lukaka beats Howard making it 2-0. That goal was the game-winner as the US strikes in the beginning of Extra Time set 2 in the 107th minute behind Midfielder Julian Green. Two more great chances led by Clint Dempsey fell short and the US will exit hold their heads up extremely high playing the World's best Futbol Outfits and looking and playing like they belonged all along!
