Just what the Hardball Doctors didn't order for Royals Hardball as they lose Game #2 of their four-piece with AL Central leader the Detroit Tigers. This "L" is on the heels of losing 16-4 last night in what was a Bluedude Sportstalk Crime Scene as the Bluedude was in Chavez Ravine Business watching Mr. Kershaw Scoreless Innings Streak come to a crashing halt!

It was Tigers Starter Anibal Sanchez answering the bell as Royals Starter Danny Duffy was on his game as well. The Tigers and Royals both scored in the 1st as both Starters settled down after that. It was the Tigers 3rd inning run on a "Miggy" Cabrera Sac-Fly that as the deciding factor. Sanchez kept the Royals at bay for seven strong allowing one run on eight hits as he struck out three. Duffy went six giving up those two runs on five hits as he struck out six with both pitchers issuing no Free Passes! Austin Jackson led the Tigers going 3 for 4 with a run scored. Eric Hosmer was 3 for 4 leading K.C..

With the win the Tigers (52-37) stretch their AL Central lead to 6.5 games over the Royals (47-45) with two more games to play as that is the good news for the K.C.. The bad news is they will face Ricky Porcello (11-5) and Justin Verlander (8-7) who is getting his 2nd wind.
