The Indiana Pacers are going to be the #1 or #2 seed in the East and by now they should know it won't be easy by any stretch as the Jazz made them work for it on Oscar Sunday. The Pacers needed big nights fro All-Star Paul George and David West to overcome a game Jazz Outfit led by Indiana Native Gordon Hayward.

The Pacers down 46-45 at the break could not shake the Jazz as it came down to the Pacers having to execute and convert through their half court sets. The Pacers did have a 75-70 lead after three but on a few occasions the Jazz cut that lead to three or less in the waning moments. It took a 6 for 8 from the stripe to put the game away and the Jazz.

David West had a game-high 25 points as he also hauled in six Oranges. PG-24 added 22 points to go along with six boards an four helpers as the Pacers had their hands full guarding Jazz Shooting Guard Gordon Hayward. Hayward led Utah with 21 points as Big Derrick Favors added 17 and ten boards with Rook PG Trey Burke going for 16 points and five helpers. The Jazz shot themselves in the foot committing 18 turnovers and a - 10 in Free Throw Attempts with the Pacers having a + 8 in makes.

Pacers keeping pace ahead of the Heat moves to 46-13 while the Jazz fall to 21-38 but playing better  than previous months.
