The OKC Thunder needed to get back on track before they hit the charter for their next Motel Swing. That didn't come easy Sunday Evening as the 2013-14 Charlotte Bobcats didn't go quietly behind Big Al Jefferson. OKC unfortunately for the 'Cats had their two Stars going and when they are going you will not hit the Winner's Circle!
OKC leading 61-55 at the break and just 85-81 after three found themselves in another potential home-loss situation this time at the hands of the Charlotte Bobcats. The one thing the Thunder had going for them as both KD and Russ for all to see and down the stretch that's all you need. In the end OKC wins by sixteen points but it wasn't easy as the 'Cats shot 40 free throws.
KD had a game-high 28 points but shot 0-6 from the field. His partner in crime Russell Westbrook picked up that slack hitting four Money Balls and going for 26 points with OKC's other PG Reggie Jackson adding 17 points on the back end of those two performances. Serge Ibaka goes 15 points and ten boards as OKC shot 50% from the field.
The 'Cat get a team-high 25 points and seven boards from Al Jefferson as PF Anthony Tolliver added 17 points off the bench. The Bobcats allowed OKC to grab eleven offensive boards as thy grabbed just two. In the end those extra possessions added up for OKC and put the 'Cats away. 'Cats PG Kemba Walker struggled as he shot just 3 for 13 and had just six points.
OKC at 45-15 has company and they need to worry about OKC Business and not score board watch as its too early. The 'Cats fall to 27-32 but this is a different 'Cats Team with a little bit of "Fight Back" in them.
