The Chicago White Sox on "Get Away Day" knowing they had to grab game 33 to avoid the sweep had their Ace going in Florida Gulf Coast U Alum Chris Sale. Sale was on his game slicing and dicing his way to a dozen strikeouts as Carlos Sanchez RBI single in the 2nd gave the Pale Hose a 1-0 lead.

That lead stood up through 6 1/2 frames as Sale took a shutout into the bottom half of the 7th. Then with Steven Souza Jr. on the bags it was a Asdrubal Cabrera's two-run bomb that called it a "Ball" as the Rays win 2-1.

Sale leaves after 6 2/3 frames giving up just three hits and two runs as he struck out twelve and walked three. His counterpart Nate Karns of the Rays was equally as good as he locked down the Chi-Sox after giving up that run in the 2nd.

Karns goes six allowing one run in six frames as he walked one and struck out eight. He didn't figure into the decision as he left down 1-0. Rays Captain Save-A-Game Kevin Jepsen gets his 5th save of 2015.

Tampa moves to 35-29 as the Pale Hose fall to 28-33 as their bid to get over that .500 mark goes down the tubes getting swept three straight...
