The Minnesota Twins has everything in front of them come Monday Morning and now three days later they are looking at the back of that Kansas City Royals Jersey. Yes the toast of the AL Central is the Kansas City Royals and they left a message behind for the Twinkies in this one, " It's coming through I-70 and Kaufmann Stadium in September"!

I know it was just three of 162 but the Royals are locked in and have been since Opening Day 2K15. They get game #3 of three by the score of 7-2 as Edison Volquez does his magic on the "Bump" going seven frames allowing just six hits and a run. He walked three and  struck out six but the free passes didn't hurt him one bit.

The game was over in the 1st as the Royals hang a crooked four on Twinkies starter Kyle Gibson. It was an Eric Hosmer RBI single coupled with a three-run blast from Alex Gordon and that was all Volquez would need. Gibson would take the loss falling to 4-4 as he was chased after six charged with five runs and all of them earned.

Royals leave town at 34-23 after arriving at 31-23. The Twinkies fall to 33-26 but will be there in the end trust me on that...
