The Toronto Blue Jays are on fire as they win their eighth game in a row sweeping their last three series they have been in. The victim this time was the Miami Marlins as getting swept by the Blue Birds as Jays starter Scott Copeland was magnificent.

Copeland goes seven strong allowing just one run on six hits walking no one and striking out four. The Jays also gave him plenty of run support as they hit four bombs including three of them solo blasts.  They go back to back bombs in the 4th frame and the 7th.

Justin Smoak's two-run blast was followed by Russell Martin's solo blast in the 4th. Then in the 7th Jose Reyes solo shot was followed by Josh Donaldson. Both Smoak and Martin each had two RBI.

The 'Jays leap frog both the O's and Carmines and are currently in the 3rd place in the AL East as we go to press. The Marlins keep free falling as they fall to 24-36 as only the Phightin' Phils are behind the Fish for last in the NL east.
