The 2014-15 Dallas Mavericks had a disappointing finish to the season as they lost to the Houston Rockets 4-1 in the 1st round. Not all talking the Mavs is a disappointment as they have at least $45 Million under the Salary Cap to play with which tells me they have big targets in mind for the Summer of 2015 Free Agency.

Dirk Nowitzki will make $8.3 million with Chandler Parsons at a whopping $15.6 million and Devin Harris at just over $4 million. Now Monta Ellis ($9 mil) , Raymond Felton ($4.5 mil), and Al Faraq Aminu ($1.1 mil) all have player options. Look for Monta to opt out and Felt Dawg and Aminu to opt in. Aminu might have a market but it won't be but a hand full of teams as he should take the cash.

Coming off the Mavs Books is Rajon Rondo, Tyson Chandler, Richard Jefferson, Charlie Villanueva, JJ Barea, Greg Smith, Ricky Ledo, and Amare Stoudamire. The only players I expect back on this list is Barea and maybe Chandler considering what they do in Free Agency.

Now who would be the Mavs Top 3 Targets in Free Agency?

1A. LaMarcus Aldridge #RipCity 23.4 ppg 10.2 rpg 1 blks

L-Train wants out of Rip City and he is unrestricted. The Spurs also want L-Train as he brings 20 and 10 on game night every night and the best shooting "Big" in the Logo period. Can Dallas pull that off as L-Train is from nearby Seagoville, Texas a Southeast Suburb of Big D.  (L-Train Top 10 Plays of 2014-15 below)

1B. DeAndre Jordan #LobCity 11.5 ppg 15 rpg 2.2 blks

Yes DeAndre the Lob City Giant the Houston native will he command Max Dollars as he should be somewhere near that. Can the Clippers afford him as Steve Ballmer has deep pockets and probably wouldn't mind paying over the Luxury Tax Threshold.

He had a fantastic year in 2014-15 as his game has evolved into an elite NBA Big. He fits with the Mavs perfectly but can they lure him away from Doc and Lob City? 'Dre is unrestricted...

2. Tyson Chandler #Mavs 10.3 ppg 11.5 rpg 1.2 blks

Unrestricted as the Mavs will most likely keep Tyson and then still make a run at both DeAndre and L-Train. They need to do that with the notion knowing what both DeAndre and L-Train plan on doing. He is the Mavs Safety Net here and a darn good one...

MAVS Options

Monta Ellis will be back into fold as he wants more money not that 1-year player option...but what do the Mavs do?

Mavs will also be shopping for a PG and look for Rockets Patrick Beverley to jump ship and join the Mavs with a nice affordable Blue-Light Special package...

Mavs have 21st Pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and they need a SG or PG and maybe Jerian Grant (Notre Dame), Tyus Jones (Duke), or even Cameron Payne (Murray State)...
