The Chicago Cubs will leave the "D" 313 with a 1-1 split as they hammered Tigers starter Shane Greene on this night. The North Siders put up huge frames in the a four run 3rd and a six run 7th as they beat Detroit Hardball 12-3.

It was a Chris Coghlan three-run blast that highlighted the 3rd. Then in the 7th it was Miguel Montero's turn as he goes three-run blast to cap a Cubs six run 7th that put the game away. Tigers Greene was chased after three after giving up five runs on three hits and a home run.

Cubbies starter Jake Arrieta went a cool six allowing three runs on eight hits as he struck out eight. His only boo boo on the night was a Yoenis Cespedes three-run blast in the 6th cutting a 6-0 Cubs lead to 6-3. That's when the Cubs added that crooked six in the 7th for a 12-3 "W"!

Chicago needed that as they move to 31-26 and the Tigers fall to 31-29 as Maddon Ball is still floating above water and its almost mid-June 2K15 as Plan Theo Epstein is gaining some steam!
