The Edmonton Oilers are tired up being the butt of every ones jokes around Ice Games. They had #1 overall and grabbed "Sid the Kid" Crosby comparable in five-star Center Connor McDavid and now they make a another solid move in the Blue-Paint.

Oilers get goalie Cam Talbot from the N.Y. Rangers and a 7th round pick for as the Blue Shirts pick up picks 57, 79, and 184. In Turn the Chicago Blakchawks send back up goalie Antti Raanta to the Blue Shirts in exchange for Forward prospect Ryan Haggerty.

Talbot was excellent in the crease in King Henrik's Absence now we get to see if that same play can translate to the Oilers as their #1 face in the blue-paint! Remember the Oilers move into that swank Rogers Place in the 2016-17 and the Rogers Place will not be taking a loser by any means necessary.

As for the Rangers they get a quality back up in Finland's Raanta as he was the odd man out in Chicago with Scott Darling playing extremely well in the blue-paint behind Corey Crawford. The Hawks were not going to keep three Goalies and Raanta became expendable as that just professional sports business! Hawks GM Stan Bowman is one of the best and in Hawks Nation we trust Bowman and Company and his pedigree and those three Cups as you play for nothing else!
