I didn't see this coming as 'Stros Nation was deep at the Big 64oz Orange Juice dba Minute Maid Park in Downtown H-Town for two reasons. Their 'Stros are in 1st place and its mid-June. Then throw in the #1 prospect on the Farms in 'Stros SS Carlos Correa (#1 overall Pick in the 201 MLB Amateur Draft) starting at Shortstop.

Well after all the hoopla and the M's with Ace Felix Hernandez on the "Bump" the 'Stros didn't disappoint. King Felix could not even get three outs in the first before he hits the showers. The 'Stros     hit two bombs of Hernandez and four for the night. King Felix 's line vs 'Stros June 12, 2015:

.1 IP 5 H 8 R 8 ER 2 BB SO 2 HR

'Stros Luis Valbuena goes three-run blast off Hernandez and Jason Castro goes two-run shot all in the first. Correa then takes Joe Beimel deep for a solo shot in the 2nd as Minute Maid Hardball was rolling by then up 9-0 after putting a crooked 8 up in the first.

Forgotten was 'Stros starter Brett Oberholtzer as all he did was go eight strong with all that run support and pitch like it was a scoreless game. Brett allows just three hits and no runs as he walked two and struck out five.

'Stros needed that moving to 35-27 as the Lloyd McClendon Mariners have officially fallen off those tracks right behind Safeco....yes those tracks!
