Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans get a big grab in the Class of 2016 as they get a commit from the State of Alabama's #1 Recruit in SG Josh Langford. Langford plays his high school ball at Madison Academy in Madison, Alabama right outside the Bluedude's Alma Mater Alabama A&M University in Normal, Alabama near the Rocket City Huntsville, Alabama.

@TheJoshLangford took his first visit ever to the Spartans and committed on the spot as he is a monster on AAU Powerhouse the Atlanta Celtics. That is AAU home to Dwight Howard and Josh Smith (Rockets) and Thaddeus Young (Formerly of the Nets now a 2015 Free Agent opting put of his Player Option just days ago).

Langford has NBA size at the shooting guard listed at 6-6 and just north of 200 el bees. He reminds me a lot of former Spartans great Shawn Respert but more athletic and bigger. Checking him out at the Adidas Gauntlet in Dallas, Texas a few months back he can shoot it with the best of them. He and Dallas TX Native Terrance Ferguson as they both can knock it down from deep.

J-Lang should be an instant hit in "Izzone" with that rugged floor game and Movie Popcorn Butter "J"...
