The San Francisco 49ers making solid moves in 2015 Free Agency gets a shocker on Monday. Through numerous media outlets the heart and soul of that rebuilt 49ers "D" through the good and the bad MLB Patrick Willis will announce his retirement as soon as Tuesday.

Willis has been nothing but spectacular and at 30 years of age he must feel his best play is behind him. #52 a 2007 1st round pick (11th overall by 49ers) dominated at Ole Miss in the SEC. If he calls it quits on Tuesday his nine-year career will be one of the best at backer for the Niners ever.

Now he leaves his "Dawg" Navorro Bowman coming a year and two months of reconstructive Knee Surgery to anchor that 49ers ""D. DT/DE Justin Smith is also calling it quits as you could say the Niners are in danger of falling into the basement of the NFC West with the Seahawks at the top and the Rams and Cards Core being somewhat young!
