The West region gets it going with three heavyweights in the building and a mid-major who always does major work during the season and in the dance. The UNC Tar Heels flying high after beating Arkansas and following PG Marcus Paige will get the Wisconsin Badgers and talented "Big" Frank the "Tank" Kaminsky.

In the 2nd tilt the Xavier Ohio Musketeers goes against one of their own in Sean Miller and the talented Arizona Wildcats. 'Zona comes at you in waves with a plethora of future NBA Talent. The X-Men just come at you playing their style and getting in you for 40 not 35 not 38. A really interesting match up.

PLAYBOOK

From Staples Center near L.A. Live

Game 1 at 7:47pm ET

#4 #TarHeelNation UNC (26-11)
vs #1 #AWholeBunchOfBadgers WISCONSIN (33-3)

The Badgers will get a huge boost in Traevon Jackson's return as Bronson Koenig held down the starting PG slot from the beginning of January until now and they are still 33-3. Frank Kaminsky will have to play big vs the UNC "Bigs" and that Pick and Pop is lethal as the Big Fella can knockdown the money ball. It will be the other front court players that will be a factor in Sam Dekker and Nigel Hayes if U-Dub Madison is to move into the Elite 8.

The Tar Heels finally has a healthy pre-season ACC M.V.P. in Marcus Paige (3rd Team in 2015) going. When Paige is going that Tar Heel Bunch is going. Brice Johnson and Kennedy Meeks must stay out of foul trouble and guard Kaminsky on the perimeter. UNC's Depth if Wisconsin gets in foul trouble might be an issue for the Badgers as this is a real treat right here!

Game 2 @ 10:17pm ET

#6 #XMenOfOhio XAVIER OH (23-13)
vs #1 #DesertSwarmHoops ARIZONA (33-3)

The Musketeers are here and the Arizona Wildcats better bring their A-Game because Cinderella doesn't exist. Eight Musketeer Players score at least 4.3 ppg or better led by "Big" Matt Stainbrook. Trevor Bluiett (Wing Forward who can bring it) is a true freshman from "Indy" and for your Hoop Heads Indy is in my Top 5 Markets for High school basketball, talent in the U.S....and that's real!

The 'Cats follow PG T.J. McConnell's lead as he and his back court mate Gabe York have been doing work in the first two games of the tourney. Can the X-Men handle the Desert Swarm Fantastic 4 in the "STAN-imal Johnson, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Kaleb Tarczewski, and Brandon Ashley? If they can contain them and keep them off he offensive glass and out of transition getting rim runs, leak outs or even running to the Arc...the Musketeers will be in the middle of a great game. If they can't...it's ovaaaaaaaa!
