It was the SMU Mustangs into March Madness after getting snubbed in 2014 the higher seed going up against a UCLA Bruins Bunch that many said didn't belong. Well after the smoke cleared and the game went nip and tuck it was UCLA's Bryce Alford (27 pts 9-11 3pt FG) vs SMU's Nic Moore (24 pts 6-11 3pt FG)  going Sprite Three-Point Contest March Madness Style as anything you shoot I can shoot better!

It was Alford's money ball with 13 seconds remaining that sent the Bruins to the winner's circle 60-59 but not after some drama. SMU's Nic Moore missed a money ball with 4 seconds remaining as UCLA's Kevon Looney grabbed the board. Looney in turn gets it stolen by Sterling Brown and Moore 2nd shot was of as well.

It came down to SMU's eight missed free throws as well as not guarding the arc as the Bruins shoot 10 for 20 from the arc as Alford accounted for 9 of the 10 made money balls. Execution in the half court on both ends were paramount and the Bruins prevail making the necessary plays to move on.

Bruins move onto the round of 32 where they will get the UAB Blazers at #14 seed not the #3 seeded Iowa State Cyclones...
