No he didn't as Duke Freshman Center Jahlil Okafor from Chicago, Illinois High School Powerhouse Whitney Young (Home of Quentin Richardson (DePaul), Marcus White (UConn) Dennis Gates (California) Cordell Henry (Marquette) Paul White (Georgetown) Marcus Jordan (Central Florida and yes Mike Jordan's youngest son) all called Dolphins Nation home and most of them left with State Chips!

Okafor lived up to the hype as he had elite company in high school from the Class of 2014 with Kentucky's Karl-Anthony Towns Jr. and Kansas' Cliff Alexander by way of Chicago, Illinois Curie H.S..

"Big Jah" was crowned last night as the "ACC Player of the Year" and the first freshman to do so and who said Freshman are not ready to "Play for Pay". Okafor dominated at times in the ACC averaging 17.6 ppg 9.2 rpg with his game now where near refined. He is and has been the #1 NBA Draft Pick since he entered the high school ranks in 2010.

I have personally watched over 25 games on this kid from junior high to his senior year in high school and he has never disappointed as he has always been the bets player on the court all 25 times. If a Kid comes from an Illinois High School the Bluedude will never miss I have seen most like 2015 Illinois Mr. Basketball Jalen Brunson (Dad Ric Brunson former NBA Player from Temple/Salem Mass HS/McDonald's All-American) Lincolnshire, Ill Stevenson HS who teamed up with Okafor for AAU and Nike EYBL Powerhouse Chicago Fire.

2014-15 All-ACC 1st Team

SG Jerian Grant #FightingIrish
PF Rakeem Chrsitmas #Cuse
SG Malcolm Brogdon #Wahoos
C @BigJAH15 #Dukies (ACC P.O.Y)

There is no doubt in my mind that @BigJah15 will be hard to pass up for that #1 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft...
