The Brooklyn Nets playing their best Hoop of the 2013-14 season and this all started when the Calendar flipper to the Year 2014. Another game without the "Big Ticket" K.G. the Nets used their home floor and as an Old Point Guard came back to the rescue for the Nets on "Remember Point God D-Will 8" Night.

The Colony, Texas Native by way of the Fighting Illini of the Illinois was "Vintage" Vino Tonight versus the Suns. Williams had 28 points on 11 of 13 from the field and four helpers. The Nets up 62-49 at the break slowly and methodically moved that lead up to as much 23 points and leading 90-72 at the end of three. The Suns made a mini run like they do in the Logo but the Nets win 105-95. All five Nets Starters were in double figures with Joe Johnson adding 19 points, five boards, and five helpers. "Plums" from #DukeInTheNBA Mason Plumlee went 14 points and ten boards in place of "KG" and more than looks the part as he squared off on his Big Bro Miles Plumlee for the Suns.

Phoenix dug themselves a hole as they were on the 2nd leg of a back to back Motel Swing having beat the Raptors on the Suns Dinosaur Field Trip in Toronto last night. Twin Markieff Morris led the Suns with 18 points with Gerald Green 17 and a few "Dunks" by Mr. Green. Suns Starters managed only 41 points compared to the Nets 83.

Nets move to 34-31 just three games back of the Raptors and a somewhat comfortable eight game lead on the Knicks. Suns fall to 38-29 and that is in the #9 slot in the West 1.5 games back of the Grizzlies.
