The Chicago Blackhawks took an "L" from the Nashville Predators on Friday Night at the Madhouse and that led to a little soul searching for the Champs. That all led to arguably the most important Blackhawk returning to the Ice vs the Wings tonight as the Hawks get a much-needed "W" 4-1 over Hockey Town USA.

Marian Hossa absent for the past few weeks due to injury led the Hawks with a goal and two assists as there was no scoring in period one. In period two the Hawks get a "slapper" from Nick Leddy almost midway through the 2nd to make it 1-0 Hawks. The Wings come right back to make it 1-1 behind a wrister from Gustav Nyquist. Ben Smith of the Hawks came right back with a score at the 19:46 mark to make it 2-1 Hawks.

Marian Hossa on a wrister makes it 3-1 at the 6:33 mark with Captain Serious striking off a beautiful steal and assist from Hossa o make it 4-01 as the hawks roll three credits on Hockey Town USA. Corey Crawford stopped 19 of 20 shots as the hawks Defense played up to snuff as it has been taking some hits of late.  Wings Jimmy Howard stopped 26 of 30 shots as the Hawks came with an Onslaught and finally they get to a Net Minder.

Hawks grab two points and moves to 39-15-15 as they rail #2 Avs by one and the #1 Blues in the Central by seven as they have 99 points. Wings fall to 30-24-13 and just 73 points as they are in the 10th hole in the East.
