The Virginia Cavaliers showed why they were the cream of the crop in the ACC as they run right through the ACC Tourney beating Duke 72-63. The Wahoos played stifling defense and played a full for 40 behind Lead Man Tony Bennett calling the shots.

Duke trailing 28-25 at the break stayed close throughout as they were tied late in the 2nd half at 53-53 when the Wheels started to unravel. Cabs Malcolm Brogdon had a team-high 23 points and eight boards as ACC Tourney M.V.P. Joe Harris added 15 including a dagger-like Money Ball just under two minutes to seal Duke's Fate. Duke was led by the best Freshman in the Land Jabari Parker who had 23 points on just 9 of 24 shooting as he also hauled in eight boards.

The 'Hoos held Duke under 40% from the field but the Blue Devils stayed in it by shooting 8 of 14 from Deep. Virginia simply won the game by being the aggressor as they shoot 38 free throws to Duke's 11. The Blue Devils settled for too many J's and you live by the Jumper...and die by it as well. Now we await to see if the Wahoos get the #1 seed in the East in the Big Dance as Duke will most likely be a surefire #2 seed.
