Hopefully this is a good sign to come for Blackhawks Nation as the Hawks end the L.A. Kings seven game win streak at the Madhouse on Monday Night 4-2 and cooling off their two-game skid after losing to both the Winnipeg Jets and Minnesota Wild.

It was Captain Serious getting the Indian Head started in the 1st with his 5th of the season making it 1-0 Hawks. That lead lasted some seven plus minutes as Alec Martinez scored for the Monarchs tying it at 1-1. Then Anze Kopitar just before frame one scored making it 2-1 L.A. after one and little did we know "Craw-Dad" in the blue-paint and the Hawks "D" would shut down L.A. Hockey after that first frame!

After a scoreless 2nd the Hawks tie the game in just over a minute and some change on a Patrick Kane score making it 2-2. Teuvo Teravainen would score almost midway through the 3rd making it 3-2 Hawks as Artem Anisimov and his hustle gets a Short-Handed Goal (SHG) with under two minutes remaining icing the game as the Indian Head prevails 4-2.

Kings Jonathan Quick stopped 22 of 26 SOG with Corey Crawford halting 33 of 35 SOG. Chicago moves to 7-5-0 while the L.A. falls to 7-4-0 and that was after the Monarchs started 0-4...
