It was only going to take a few games in and I was thinking by Turkey Day 2K15 for Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook to hit the phone booth and come out the "Regulators" minus William H. Bonny. Well the first week of the NBA Season both do what they do and takes down the Mouse Town Magic as it took two extra frames as OKC beats Orlando 139-136.
Westbrook ended Regulation with a game-tying money ball off the window after KD had tied the game the possession before. Then in the first extra frame Victor Oladipo of the Magic goes money ball for a game-tying shot at the end of extra frame one. Then in the 2nd extra frame it was too much Westbrook and Durant as they pull away in the closing seconds.
As for the numbers Westbrook (48 pts 11 rebs 8 asst) and Durant (43 pts 12 rebs) as they combined to take 66 shots. Oladipo messed around and went triple-double with 21 points, thirteen boards and ten helpers. Oladipo's Teammates Evan Fournier (22 pts), Tobias Harris (30 pts 9 rebs), and Nikola Vucevic (26 pts 7 rebs) did their part it was just too much of the Regulators as those two will be on every poster in Town in the 82-game trek except back home in Thunder Alley as OKC moves to 2-0 and Orlando falls to 0-2!
