BLUE JAYS 0 ROYALS 5 F...I will say it again Better Pitching > Better Hitting in OCTOBER Hardball as EDISON VOLQUEZ of #BeRoyalKC ran with that notion in Game 1!..."Fight for FALL CLASSIC" 2K15 as the 'JAYS better get to that K.C. Starting Pitching as that K.C. Pen is straight STACEY DASH stuntin'! #TORvsKC #BlueBirds #ARoyalPainInOctober #ALCS #FightForFallClassic2K15

The Kansas City Royals know this if their starting pitching can get them to that Grade A Bullpen vs #WeTheNorth Hardball them Blue Birds will scatter and go "North of the Border"! Game 1 Royals starter Edison Volquez was dealing and the 'Jays couldn't get to him as he had a three spot when he let the Royals Pen slam the door!

K.C. Hardball goes up 1-0 as Volquez was "Lights Out" as he goes six frames of shutout October Hardball throwing upwards of 110 pitches. He gave out four free passes but none came back to bite him as his Movement on the Rawlings Stitched-One was all over the place and that is a good thing!

Then that gave way to the best "Pen" in the Show as Kelvin Herrera, Ryan Madson, and Luke Hochevar (playing Royals Captain Save-A-Game on this night) allowed just one hit. That Royals Offense as they only needed one to cross the dish go to 'Jays starter Marco Estrada early and often.

An Alcides Escobar RBI double and an Lorenzo Cain RBI single all in the bottom half of the 3rd put K.C. on the board. Then Estrada gave up a solo Bomb to K.C. back stop Salvador Perez as it was 3-0 and all the other runs were insurance after that. K.C. would add tow more on that 'Jays Pen as Estrada's Tab was...5.1 IP 6 H 3 R 3 ER 6 SO HR!

Now we get a quick turnaround for Game #2 at 3:30pm ET on Saturday October 17, 2015 as we get the Blue Birds David Price vs the Royals Yordano Ventura who has struggled...
