It was scripted just like Miami Florida Coach Al Golden has scripted it with true freshman QB Brad Kaaya doing work in the 1st half. The 'Canes had the 'Noles right where they wanted them and couldn't get anything going in the 2nd half. All that credit goes to FSU and the adjustments 'Noles lead man Jimbo Fisher made at the break and Miami didn't counter!

The 'Canes ran up 23 points on the defending National Champs in the 1st half as the 'Noles shot themselves ion the foot a few times with missed opportunities and turnovers. "Canes QB Kaaya was 16 for 34 for 316 yards and two TD and an INT. He was 3 for 14 in the 2nd half with an INT that needed the game. It was tale of two halves for hims and Miami as Senior RB Duke Johnson ran for 130 yards on 27 carries and a TD.

It was that 'Noles 2nd half defense coupled with QB Jameis Winston (25/42 304 yards TD INT) as Winston hit 10 different targets and brought the 'Noles back. True freshman RB Dalvin Cook led the 'Noles on the ground with 92 yards on just seven carries and two TD's. It just came down to winning time late and the 'Noles have that part down better than anyone in the country.

The 'Noles move to 10-0 and 7-0 in the ACC while the 'Canes fall to 6-4 and 3-3 in the ACC. FSU host Boston College next week and the host the Gators for bragging rights of Florida and that will not be an easy out as the Gators play spoiler!
