Well looking at the Saints sideline they have completed the "Trifecta" doing it the wrong way. That's right the New Orleans Saints complete three straight home losses to the Niners, Bengals, and now Ravens and they fortunately for them are still in the NCF south divisional race.

The Ravens are in a three-way tie with the Steelers and Dawg Pound in the AFC north at 7-4 with the Bengals leading at 8-3-1...go figure! As for tonight it was all about the Ravens calling RB Justin Forsett's digits 22 times and he answered those calls running to Baton Rouge for 182 yards and was in the Saints end zone twice.

The Ravens WR's Steve Smith Sr. and Torrey Smith (no relation) combined for 187 yards on nine grabs and a TD. The Ravens attack was as balanced as it could get. The Saints "D" had no answers and they haven't had many on that side of the Wilson pigskin.

Saints Offense was leading at the half 17-14 then the Ravens "D" put the clamps on them. Baltimore had them shutout in the 3rd and most of the 4th taking a 17-14 deficit turning it into a commanding 24-17 lead scoring a TD and getting a FG in the 3rd. Saints QB Drew Brees passed for 420 yards on 35 for 45 for 3 TD's and an INT but a nice chunk of that was in the 4th with them chasing the Purple Browns!

The Ravens run "D" was pivotal as was the red zone "D" and that gives them a much-needed "W" staying on pace with the other three teams in the AFC north. The Saints at 4-7 are tied with the Falcons as they both have to play more AFC north teams.
