I saw this coming when he carried Coach John Calipari to the promised land at UK dba #BBN to his first-ever Chip and doing impacting the game from all areas except scoring the Orange. The Jazz has their own nugget in Hinkel Fieldhouse G.O.A.T. Gordon Hayward who is straight margarine in his own right. This night though belonged to Chicago Charter Star from Perspectives HS Anthony Davis as he pours in 43 points on a youthful and tough Jazz front line.

State Bird of Louisiana Hoops led 57-40 at the break as Ant Davis led all scorers with 21 points at the break. The Jazz to their credit made a run in the 3rd cutting that 17-point deficit to five 77-72 Pelicans after three. Davis had 32 points at the end of three with Hayward 23 points.

The Jazz couldn't get any closer than eight as the Pelicans pulled away with Davis netting eleven in the final frame giving him 43 points on the night grabbing fourteen boards leading the N.O.P. to a 106-94 "W"! Former All-Star PG Jrue Holiday was the only other Pelican in double figures with 19 points.

The Jazz led by Hayward's  31 points (8 of that 31 in the 4th) also hauled in eight boards. He led four Jazz players in double figures with Trey Burke adding 20 points and Derrick Favors adding 13 points and eleven boards.

The Pelicans shot 18 of 22 from the stripe as neither team shot it well from the arc. New Orleans making a move at 7-5 as the Jazz under former Duke Blue Devils PG Quinn Snyder (played with Danny Ferry) falls to 5-9.
