The Cincinnati Bengals did just enough in Harris County, Texas at Reliant Energy Complex to escape their game with the feisty Texans for a 22-13 hard-fought win. The Bengals needed all hands on deck as the run game (behind rook Jeremy Hill 18 att 87 yds TD) and the passing game (AJ Green 12 grabs  121 yds) and they were balanced enough to keep that Texans "D" led by "Area 99" from swarming and disrupting.

Cincy stared the game with a TD going 94-yards on 13 plays ending in a Dalton to WR Mohamed Sanu TD pass making it 7-0. The Bengals "D" then stopped Texans rook RB Alfred Blue in the end zone for a safety making it 9-0 Who Dey! The Texans finally got a FG before the half making it 9-3 Bengals at the break.

The 2nd half started of with Ryan Mallett interception as the Bengals took that possession in for a score making it 16-3. To the Texans credit they scored 10 points in the 3rd down 16-3 making it 16-13 after three. The Bengals back to playing sound "D" held the Texans scoreless in the 4th and kicked two FG's for a final score of 22-13 Who Dey!

Dalton was 24 for 25 passing for 233 yards and a TD and INT. Texans QB Ryan Mallett was 21 for 45 for 189 yards and an INT. Houston had net 64 yards on the ground as their inability to get anything going on offense most of the day put them into the losers column!

Cincy leading the AFC north moves to 7-3-1 as the Texans fall to 5-6.
