The Horned Frogs come in rolling on offense behind converted WR to QB and Dallas, Texas native Treyvon Boykin. Boykin has amassed 3,021 yards in the air with 24 TD's and only 5 INT's. He has also ran for some 548 yards and five scores and he is equally as dangerous by land. The 'Horns will need to slow down that TCU run game first and then that secondary must hold up led by All Big 12 CB Quandre Diggs.
Horned Frogs RB Aaron Green (677 yds) along with WR's Josh Doctson (693 yds) and Kolby Listenbee (606 yds). These three along with Boykin have put up Basketball-like numbers on the scoreboard and the 'Horns need to be fundamentally sound at the point of attack or they will get embarrassed. TCU #2 in the nation averaging over 45 ppg...yikes! Longhorns 21st in points against allowing just 21 ppg...hookem!
Hookem' is no slouch as they are led by Tyrone Swoopes and his game has evolved 360 degrees since his first game back in September. He will need all his weapons namely RB Malcolm Brown (654 yds) and Johnathan Gray (627 yds) on the ground. Swoopes has passed for 2,152 yards. His #1 target is John Brown who is running up on 1K yards (59 rec 976 yds 7 TD). The Horned Frogs better not get caught up in we are expected to win or they will get punched in the mouth and backed into a corner.
TCU is tied with Baylor at 6-1 in the Big 12 and at 9-1 overall. They are the only hope for the Big 12 getting into the College Football playoffs and it will not be easy.
Winner: TCU 38-34...yes the Horned Frogs escape back top Fort Worth by a half a turkey leg!
