We are just ten games or do into the 2014-15 NBA season and the Memphis Grizzlies have put everyone in their path on notice. What was suppose to be then 9-1 Rockers vs the 9-1 Grizzlies with Clutch City hanging out the party favors turned into "A night out with the Grind House Bigs"!

The Grizz jumped out to a blistering 34-18 first frame lea and coasted to a 119-93 "W" leading at the break 65-42. Grit and Grind has been doing with not smoke and mirrors put solid team play with an "All hands on deck" approach.

Tonight the Grizz gets seven players in double figures with just three starters in double figures. That tells the tale of the 2014-15 Grizz as they a bench that is better than most that can spell starter minutes with starters production. Grizz PG Mike Conley Jr. led with 19 points and six helpers. Bench players "Q" Pondexter (whop played with the Lopez Twins in HS), Beno Udrih, and Jon Leuer all had 13 points of the bench.

The Rockets just dug themselves a huge hole and kinda threw in the towel in this one. Trevor Ariza led the Rockets with 16 points as they shot a woeful 8 for 34 from the field. The Grizz forced 21 Rocket turnovers and that was part of Red Nation's downfall in this one.

Grit and Grind Beale Street moves to 10-1 while the Rockets fall to 9-2...
