They will see each other again you can count on that. In a game where before teams and defenses settled down the Bird Gang gets the early jump on two Michael Floyd TD's of 42 and 12 yards to hold on to beat the Lions 14-6.

Cards QB Drew Stanton with QB Guru and Cards lead man Bruce Arians holding nothing back inn the playbook threw for some 306 yards on 21 for 32 and two TD's and two INT's. Cards RB Andre Ellington ran for just 42 yards on that stout Lion front on 19 carries but that was enough.

Bird Gang WR Michael Floyd's only two grabs went for pay dirt. The Lions just never looked comfortable playing against that Cards "D" and it showed in the numbers and for sure looking back at the tape. QB Staff threw for just 183 yards on 18 for 30 including an INT.

Lions WR MEGA-tron grabbed five pigs for just 59 yards with Golden Tate 41 yards on two grabs. Bird Gang might have the best duo at corner in Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie. They play bump and run all game long or for a high percentage while d-coordinator Todd Bowles dials up exotic blitzes like he is playing Madden 15. It has been working and his scheme worked the Lions offense into just six points.

The Bird Gang moves to a "Shield" leading 9-1 while the Lions fall to 7-3 tied with the Cheeseheads as the Lions hold the tiebreaker for now having already beat the pack in the Motor City earlier this season.

Can the Cards at least go 2-2 against both the Seahawks and 49ers and that would put them in the "Fight for George" Driver's seat in the NFC playoffs?
