It was relatively a quiet signing but if hind sight is 50-50 (according to Panthers QB Cam Newton..Lol) the Chicago White Sox get a steal in adding Nats first baseman Adam LaRoche.

Through numerous media outlets the Chi-Sox grab LaRoche for a P.O. of $25 million for 24 months of service. He hit .259 with 26 HR 92 RBI in 140 games and was a vital part to that 2014 "Nats" Bunch that made it to winning time and October hardball.

Now LaRoche at 35 years of age will be asked to do the same on the South Side as far as numbers. He will protect reigning 2014 A.L. Rook of the Year Cuban Slugger Jose Abreu who totaled 36 HR 107 RBI and hit a robust .317.

If the South Siders can add to Ace lefty Chris Sale and add one more bat somewhere that 2015 Chi-Sox bunch won't be in that rugged AL Central basement and will have high expectations!
